Swiss President points out Bulgarian progress in past 10 years

After a closed meeting in Sofia with President of the Swiss Confederation, Doris Leuthard, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev expressed his satisfaction with intensifying bilateral economic relations.

The Bulgarian Head of State pointed out that the Swiss Confederation was the ninth largest investor in Bulgaria with more than 1.8 billion euros invested for the past 20 years. The meeting also discussed ways to further expand cooperation, especially in the fields of investments, small and medium-sized enterprises development and the IT sector.

Swiss President Doris Leuthard pointed out the progress of Bulgaria marked over the past ten years, which according to her, was remarkable in comparison to other European countries.
