Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: No Bulgarians wounded during Texas shooting

The Bulgarian Embassy in Washington has not received information about injured or killed Bulgarian citizens during the Sunday shooting in Texas, the press center of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. The Bulgarian embassy is in constant contact with the local authorities and is following the situation closely. People can contact the Bulgarian embassy on the following hotline: 001 (202) 387 0174. A gunman opened fire during the Sunday service at a Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. The suspected gunman was later found dead in his vehicle some miles away. The Governor of Texas Greg Abbott announced that 26 people were killed and nearly 20 people were wounded during the shooting.
