Bulgaria’s readiness to take over rotating Presidency of Council of EU assessed highly

We identified four main priorities during the forthcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union- the multiannual financial framework of the EU, the European perspective and the connectivity of the Western Balkans, security and stability in Europe and development of the digital single market, Minister in Charge of Bulgaria’s EU Council Presidency Lilyana Pavlova said after the joint meeting in Brussels between the Bulgarian cabinet and the College of Commissioners. Minister Pavlova underlined that Bulgaria was assessed highly for its readiness to take over the rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU. The preparation phase is completed and we have started to work on the fulfillment of our political engagements and priorities that were already approved. Our goal is single, digital and strong Europe, Minister Pavlova added.
