No Bulgarian medics have been hurt in the terrorist attack in Mali today, the Ministry of Defense has said.
The attack took place at a big distance from the base where the Bulgarian medics are located. There are no reports of direct threat against the base.
In the meantime another terrorist attack on a mosque in the northern part of Sinai Peninsula in Egypt left more than 200 dead, and at least 120 injured.
In information from authorities attackers triggered an explosive device, and then started firing on people gathered for Friday prayer at the mosque. So far, no group has taken responsibility for the attack. A three-day mourning was declared in the country to commemorate the victims.
