Bulgaria and Cyprus share common views regarding energy, migration and policies aimed to encourage economic growth in EU, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said emerging from a meeting in Nicosia with the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades.
Radev pointed out that Bulgaria has a decisive role in Southeast Europe and together with the initiatives undertaken by Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean, the two countries can play an active in promoting peace, stability and security in the region.
Nicos Anastasiadesvoiced the full support of his country for Bulgaria’s policy regarding the European integration of the Western Balkans as one of the priorities of the Bulgarian EU Presidency which will contribute to expanding regional cooperation.
