Holidays and books are most preferred presents in Bulgaria for Christmas

Holidays and books are the most preferred presents in Bulgaria for Christmas, an online survey held in November by the Consultancy House for Marketing Research and Analyses Progress Consult shows. 43.2% of the surveyed Bulgarians prefer a holiday for their Christmas present and 28.9% would like to receive books for Christmas. 21.9% of the polled citizens said they would love to receive a mobile phone for Christmas, 5% would like to receive a tablet and 4.3% would like to receive smart watch for Christmas. Meanwhile, clothes and shoes (52.7%), toys (45.1%) and cosmetics (40.9%) are the most popular presents in the recent years. 64.2% of the surveyed nationals said that this year they would make presents to their partners, 63.7% would make presents to their children and 62.7% would buy presents for their parents. Just under one-third of the surveyed Bulgarians (29.9%) would buy presents for their friends. 54.1% of the people answered that they would buy presents from shops and online.
