French proposals reflected in priorities of Bulgarian EU Presidency

After the talks she had in Sofia with Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva yesterday, France’s Minister for European Affairs Nathalie Loiseau commented that the big challenge in 2018 is to bring a new kind of dynamism to the European project.

In Minister Loiseau’s words France’s proposals for a sovereign, united and democratic Europe are reflected in the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency for a Europe of more security, stability and solidarity. Minister Zaharieva pointed out that it is particularly important to demonstrate practical support for the countries of the Western Balkans. Nathalie Loiseau also met with Lilyana Pavlova, Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
