Minister Karanikolov: Europe needs a powerful and innovative industry

At the forum “EU Industry Day”, organized by the European Commission in Brussels, Bulgarian Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov stated that the EU needs a powerful and innovative industry to generate quality employment and a competitive economy.

Minister Karanikolov presented key conclusions from the informal competitiveness council held in Sofia at the beginning of February, regarding preparations for the future EU 2030 industrial strategy. Emma Marcegaglia, President of the biggest business organization in Europe BusinessEurope, commended the work of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in this regard.
