PM Boyko Borissov meets Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and the Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed in Sofia opportunities for deepening economic relations between the two countries and the situation in the Middle East.

They noted that the intensification of the political dialogue over the past two years has boosted the development of contacts between business organizations in Bulgaria and in Iran. Borissov and Zarif expressed support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the nuclear programme of Iran and stated it needs to be implemented by all countries.
