Boyko Borissov: The inclusion of the Western Balkans in the EU is of strategic importance

PM Boyko Borissov stated, at a meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, that the Western Balkans are an inseparable part of Europe and their inclusion in the common European area of security and economic development is of strategic importance to the stability of the whole EU.

The sides noted the determined efforts of the governments in the region to achieve visible progress along the way to membership of the EU. Jean-Claude Juncker stated that building strategic infrastructures in the region will boost trade, investments, competitiveness and the movement of capital.
