The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences awarded the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor Eric Verdin, President and CEO of The Buck Institute for Research of Ageing. Professor Verdin received the title for his exceptional scientific achievements in the field of biomedicine.
