EU Foreign Ministers discuss Macedonia’s progress on its road to European Union at initiative of Bulgaria and Austria

The EU Foreign Ministers discussed in Brussels the progress of Macedonia on its road to the European Union at the initiative of Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva and her Austrian counterpart Karin Kneissl. Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov also attended the meeting. After the meeting Minister Zaharieva announced that the Foreign Ministers of Macedonia and Greece Nikola Dimitrov and Nikos Kotzias have reached an agreement in principle regarding Macedonia’s name and are expecting the premiers and the cabinets of the two countries to approve it, in order to push the process forward, BTA informs.
