Two second places for Bulgaria at IAAF Diamond League in Rome

Bulgarian athletes Mirela Demireva and Ivet Lalova-Collio won two places at the Diamond League tournament in Rome. High jumper Demireva reached her personal achievement for the season of 194 cm but could not improve it. Winner in the discipline became Russian Maria Lasitskene with 202 cm.

Lalova showed good performance at the 200-m sprint event and finished her run for 22.64 seconds, which is her best result for the season. Faster than her was only Marie-Josée Ta Lou of Cote d'Ivoire.
