Rumen Radev: Bulgaria needs sustainable policy in stock-breeding sector

It is high time for the state to think about a sustainable policy in the stock-breeding sector, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev told journalists on occasion of the recent protests of Bulgarian farmers. I expect a policy whose mistakes are not redeemed through resignations, because they mean nothing for the people living in the region affected by ovine rinderpest (sheep and goat plague). The whole point is how the people who lost their livelihood will restore it and how they will be encouraged to stay in this region, Bulgaria’s head of state Radev pointed out.
