Bulgaria has a systemic problem in providing environment accessible to the disabled

Bulgaria has a systemic problem in providing an environment accessible to persons with disabilities, the Commission for Protection against Discrimination says.

In the period from April until September, commission experts inspected more than 530 public buildings and ascertained that only 60 of them provide access. This means that the ratio between accessible and inaccessible buildings is 1 to 8, the experts say.
