World Bank CEO Kristalina Georgieva announced that Bulgaria ranks 44th in the Human Capital Index.
The criteria on which the index is based include health, school, life expectancy, level of knowledge acquired during accumulated years of completed schooling. For Bulgaria, the index shows that a child born today can expect to achieve 68 percent of his or her potential as an adult.
