The average life expectancy in Bulgaria has continued to increase, the report of the Bulgarian cabinet on the fulfillment of the National Demographic Development Strategy reads. Between 2015 and 2017 the average life expectancy in Bulgaria was 74.8 years, or 0.1 years higher as compared to the previous period 2014-2016. Average life expectancy for males was 71.3 years.
