An information meeting was held at the Bulgarian embassy in London for Bulgarian nationals on the territory of the UK, regarding their rights after Brexit and how to apply for “settled status”.

The meeting was organized jointly with the Department for Exiting the European Union and the Home Office. The Bulgarians attending the meeting were assured by British officials involved in this process that they have no grounds for concerns that their rights will be respected even in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
