The second pipe of "Turkish Stream" is going to pass through Bulgaria, Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova said at a briefing in the National Assembly. Bulgarian gas company Bulgartransgaz will have to build a pipe from the Turkish border to Serbia. In addition, two new compressor stations will be built, Minister Petkova said. All this is part in the renewed energy strategy of Bulgaria. In Bulgaria and Serbia, the first deliveries of natural gas will be in 2020; in Hungary - in 2021, in Slovakia - in the second half of 2022.

The renewed energy strategy envisages the construction of a gas distribution center on the territory of the country – the so-called Balkan hub, as well as gas exchange.
