The German company MD Elektronik is to invest over 11 million euro /21.5 million Leva/ in a plant for data transmission cables and electronic components in Vratsa.
Today the company and the municipality signed a contract for the purchase of a land plot worth 700,000 euro /1.4 million Leva/. The company is planning to construct factory buildings, logistics and office buildings in Vratsa.
To beginwith 300 new jobs will be created, with a starting monthly salary for low-skilled employees of 500 euro.
Mayor Kalin Kamenov stated that once the new factory starts functioning many people who have left Vratsa are sure to return to the town.
