Girls from all over Bulgaria will, once again, be able to express their views on important societal issues, within the framework of the “Ambassador for a day” initiative.
The initiative was presented by Vice-President Iliana Iotova and British ambassador to Bulgaria Emma Hopkins. The initiative, implemented for a second year in a row is connected with International Women’s Day, 8 March. The theme of the competition for girls aged 15-19 is: How would you use your power as an individual and your influence as an ambassador for a day to make a positive change in society? The aim is to encourage and empower girls from across Bulgaria to add their voices and perspectives to societal issues that affect us all. The second objective is to draw inspiration from female leaders and individuals across society who are doing just that.
