The winner of the record 7 consecutive Alpine Ski World Cups Marcel Hirscher has expressed a very positive opinion about Bansko and Bulgaria. Days after the end of skiing competitions in the resort, the Austrian star wrote in his blog. "Next stop Bansko ... and to be honest: Bulgaria and ski sport, who would think it possible? Bansko is a fabulous ski resort rising to more than 2500m and has modern lifts and perfectly prepared ski runs. This shows us once again that skiing is much more widespread than we think.
