Bulgarian boxer Daniel Asenov won the gold medal in the 52 kilogram category at the U22 European Boxing Championships in Vladikavkaz (Russia) for the sixth consecutive year. Asenov scored a 5:0 victory versus Kiaran Mac Donald (Great Britain) in the final match. Daniel Asenov’s brother Boyan won the silver medal in the 56 kilogram category.
