Shell is going to start exploration drilling for oil and natural gas at the Han Kubrat block on April 1, the company reported. Exploration work will take place 1300 meters below sea level at a distance of 80 kilometers from the coastline south of Burgas. Drilling will last for 90 days before data obtained will be analyzed and a decision will be made whether to proceed with extraction.
