The European Parliament is not going to vote on the Mobility Package on Wednesday.

European Parliament President Antonio Tajani returned the document to the transport committee, and took the vote off the agenda of the plenary session. There will now only be a debate on the text.

This took place under pressure from Bulgarian MEPs who laid emphasis on the fact that there are procedural irregularities in the more than 1,600 amendments submitted.

Yordan Arabadzhiev from the Union of International Hauliers stated that the Mobility Package 1 is hardly likely to be voted in the time left until the end of the term of the current EP.
