The candidature of the town of Pazardzhik to become European City of Sport in 2020 was assessed very positively. It became clear after the inspection of the special commission from ACES EUROPE. The inspectors headed by the Board Member of ACES Vincenco Lupattelli visited all sports facilities in this Bulgarian town. Sofia stirred the interest of other Bulgarian towns and now 10 cities can be proud of the prestigious title, which helps the local residents to have more opportunities for sport and active lifestyle, Vincenco Lupattelli said. The inspection committee will provide its assessment to the management board which is expected to announce its decision within one month.
