Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov is on a visit to North Macedonia, which coincides with marking two years since he and his counterpart Zoran Zaev signed a bilateral Agreement of Friendship, Good Neighborhood and Cooperation. In Skopje, Borissov commented that the results achieved in the past year on issues related to the common history of the two countries exceed those achieved for 20 years before that, but this was not enough and serious and active work in this direction is yet to be done. Prime Minister Zaev pointed out that the two countries each day showed the Balkans, Europe and the world that they could solve their problems through dialogue.

At a meeting with President Stevo Pendarovski, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov discussed ways to speed up the construction of Corridor No. 8 which is crucial to transport connectivity in the region.
