Bulgarian athletes win 6 gold medals at European Athletics Team Championships Second League

Bulgaria has preserved its place in the European Athletics Team Championships Second League in Varazdin, Croatia. After a fierce two-day competition, they remained on the sixth place in the group with 297 points. The Bulgarian athletes won 6 gold medals - Ivet Lalova-Collio triumphed in the 100 and 200 meters; Mirela Demireva was untouchable in the high jump; Radoslava Mavrodieva won in the shot put event; Gabriela Petrova was victorious in the triple jump, and Tihomir Ivanov brought the only victory for Bulgaria among the men, triumphing in the high jump event. Bulgarian athletes also won two silver and four bronze medals
