As part of the procedure for selecting a strategic investor in the Belene NPP project, announced on May 22, 2019, the Russian state corporation Rosatom has submitted an application for participation in the procedure within the established deadlines, it was reported. The application has been accepted by Natsionalna Elektricheska Kompania of Bulgaria, Rosatom said.
