Grigor Dimitrov qualifies for Masters Tournament quarterfinals in Paris for the first time

The best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has qualified for the first time in his career for the quarterfinals of the Masters series on hard courts in the French capital Paris with a prize fund of 5.21 million euros. Dimitrov eliminated in the second round Austrian Dominic Thiem 6: 3, 6: 2 in 72 minutes. With the victory, Dimitrov secured 180 points for the world rankings, where he currently holds 27th place. In the quarterfinals, he will face 23-year-old Chilean Cristian Garín.
