For countries with a high share of coal energy, such as Bulgaria, the transition to climate neutrality requires high levels of investment and social measures, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said at the 25th Climate Conference in Madrid. 46% of the Bulgarian electricity is generated from coal plants, and in winter this percentage reaches 60.
