International search for arrest of one of richest Bulgarians has started

The Bulgarian prosecution has raised 7 accusations against owner of Nove Holding, Vasil Bozhkov, including for heading an organized criminal network. Bozhkov is wanted internationally by police authorities, Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev said.

Earlier today the businessman, whose offices were searched by the police, said he was available to the authorities. Chairman of the Gambling Commission Alexander Georgiev was detained for 24 hours, as well as the head of the monitoring department of the commission Todor Markov and more than 10 other officials. According to investigators the state had lost more than 100 million euros from irregular taxation of gambling business in Bulgaria
