Crisis Staff: Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria now 23

16 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed later yesterday, raising the total number of cases in Bulgaria to 23, including also the infected woman who died on Wednesday in a hospital in Sofia. On the regular press briefing on Friday morning, the head of the National Crisis Staff Ventsislav Mutafchiiski announced at a briefing on Friday morning that after no new cases have been confirmed after those registered later last night.

Because of numerous signals of people violating the rules of the home quarantine, Mutafchiiski urged citizens arriving from at-risk destinations to act with responsibility and remain isolated in their homes.
