62 cases of coronavirus infection registered so far in Bulgaria

62 cases of coronavirus have been already registered in Bulgaria, the head of the National Operations Headquarters to coordinate measures for prevention and combating Covid-19 Professor Ventsislav Mutafchiyski announced. A total of 240 tests for coronavirus were made on March 16 and 10 of them are positive. Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov, Major General Mutafchiyski and all members of the National Crisis Staff were tested for coronavirus and their tests are negative. By order of Plovdiv Metropolitan Nikolai every evening between 9 pm and 9.15 pm all church bells in Plovdiv Eparchy will toll in support of the medics who are taking care of the people affected by COVID-19.
