Order specifies which individuals are subject to 14-day quarantine

Bulgarian Health Minister Kiril Ananiev has issued an order identifying persons subject to mandatory 14-day home quarantine in connection with the Covid-19 epidemic. These include:

Persons who had contacts with patients with established Covid-19 virus;

People with mild clinical complaints, with body temperature up to 38 degrees, cough, runny nose, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, and no accompanying chronic illnesses and conditions that reduce immunity.

All Bulgarian citizens and citizens of other countries with permanent, or long-term residence in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and their families arriving from risk countries are also subject to 14-day isolation.
