40,000 employees in large and medium-sized companies affected by coronavirus crisis

A study by the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria shows that more than 40,000 employees working in 72 large and medium-sized enterprises in this country have been affected by the coronavirus crisis. 78 per cent of the companies affected send their workers on paid leave and 24 per cent on unpaid leave. 13 percent resort to lay offs. The sum is higher than 100 percent, as more than one answer was given to some of the questions in the poll.
