Bulgaria will push for a common EU decision on tourist trips in the summer and on holding at least a late tourist season. A declaration for foreign tourists may be introduced, which will say the persons in question are not infected with coronavirus.

A meeting was held between the Crisis Headquarters and representatives of the tourism sector. Options for precautionary measures for both tourists and employees have been discussed, Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova announced. She proposes to abolish visas for Russian and Turkish citizens in the summer.
Angelkova also commented that the ministry's new electronic portal https://bulgariatravel.org/ is undergoing an update and will soon be available in 4 languages.
