Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, in charge of EU funds and economic policy, said the government has a proposal for allowing spending of money from the next EU programming period.
With the aim for easier exit of the crisis, the Cabinet has the idea to change the European legislation so that such an approach is adopted not only for Bulgaria and that the spending of the funds allocated for 2021 could start 6-7 months earlier, Donchev also said.
