Long lines of cars have formed at all checkpoints around Sofia, the longest being the line of cars at the exit point on Trakia motorway which stretches for around 4 kilometres.

The lines of cars at the exit point leading to Hemus and Struma motorways, and in the region of Vladaya at the foot of Mount Vitosha, are around 1-2 kilometres long. To leave the capital city people living in Sofia have to submit a declaration at the police posts.

Traffic is expected to be exceedingly heavy again on Sunday, but in the direction of Sofia.
