Bulgaria’s Minister of Finance to make a report on the state of 2020 budget

On the last day of the state of emergency, Bulgaria’s Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov is to make a report on the state of the 2020 budget during the regular sitting of the government. The report does not include the plans to reduce the value added tax on restaurants and books announced yesterday. Premier Borissov insists that VAT is reduced to 9% in these sectors from 20% at present. Currently, 9% VAT is levied on hotel accomodation.
