65 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Bulgaria, total number reaches 2,069

A total of 1,387 PCR tests for Covid-19 were made in the past 24 hours in Bulgaria by 8 am today. 65 new cases of Covid-19 were reported. 25 people were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours, the National Operational Headquarters announced.  24 people in Sofia, 8 in Blagoevgrad, 6 in Vidin, 6 in Yambol, 4 in Pleven, 4 in Sliven, 3 in Pazardzhik, 3 in Pernik, 2 in Plovdiv, 3 in Razgrad, 1 in Kyustendil and 1 person in Ruse tested positive for Covid-19.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 2,069. 225 medics were infected with the novel coronavirus. 365 Bulgarians were admitted to hospital. 51 people are in intensive-care units.

Three people died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. The total Covid-19 death toll rose to 96 people.

23 patients recovered from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. The total number of Bulgarians who recovered from the virus reached 499.
