Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria increase by 1.7% in past 24 hours

1,161 PCR tests for Covid-19 were made in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, the National Operational Headquarters announced. A total of 64,480 PCR tests have been made in Bulgaria until now. 37 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed and 10 people were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours. 23 people in Sofia, 2 in Blagoevgrad, 2 in Vidin, 1 in Kyustendil, 3 in Pazardzhik, 2 in Pleven, 1 in Plovdiv, 1 in Sliven, 1 in Smolyan and 1 person in Yambol tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 2,175. A total of 131 children aged 18 or under were diagnosed with Covid-19.

Three people died of Covid-19 from 8.00 am on Friday until 8.00 am on Saturday. The Covid-19 death toll rose to 105 people.

573 Bulgarians completely recovered from the virus. 28 people recovered from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
