Six artificial nests for saker falcons have been built by volunteers under the project “Bringing saker falcons back to Bulgaria”. The project is financed by the Mohamed Bin Zayed Raptor Conservation Fund, the Green Balkans’ Wildlife Rescue Centre announced.

The nest platforms are located in a region which is expected to draw the attention of a saker falcon couple looking for a place to make their home.

Watch a family of Egyptian vultures with a new addition the volunteers are caring for.
