Deadline for applying for state support to keep employment extended

The deadline for employers until which they can apply for compensation for maintaining employment and their employees has been extended until June 30, the Tripartite Council for Social Cooperation has decided. The state aid known as the 60/40 scheme will be paid for the whole period or for a part of the period between March 13 - June 30, but for no longer than 3 months. 

The 11th consecutive list of the National Social Security Institute with approved employers includes 1,020 companies from various industries. Among them are football and sports clubs, theatres and even the national spiritual emblem, the Rila Monastery. So far, 19 million euros have been transferred to 6,500 companies for nearly 100,000 jobs.
