The proposal will be submitted to parliament, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov wrote on his Facebook page. The idea came from Minister of Social Affairs Denitsa Sacheva, who proposes one-time aid of 125 euros to families in need, whose children are studying in the eighth grade.

According to the Prime Minister, this is a way to motivate socially disadvantaged children not to leave the education system. PM Borissov also thanked Bulgarian teachers for their contribution during the online training and added that their salaries will continue to rise.
