The free platform, created to help the tourism business in this country started operating on June 1. Created on the initiative of a large retail chain, behind the idea stand the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA) and representatives of the tourism business throughout the country. Over 450 private entrepreneurs have presented the possibilities for accommodation in hotels and guest houses, and many restaurants have been presented, too. Tourists have the opportunity to book a holiday in a hotel, and can pay at the time of booking or on the spot. Fees and commissions for reservations will not be paid. Domestic hoteliers and restaurateurs do not owe commissions for publishing their offers, as long as they are committed to comply with safety anti-epidemic standards and offer a menu based on Bulgarian traditional cuisine in their restaurants. Moreover, the recipes must meet the preferences of Bulgarian tourists looking for quality and clean food produced in Bulgarian farms and gardens.
