Bulgaria is working to implement the recommendations of the European Commission related to the infringement procedures in the field of environment, this country’s Ministry of Environment and Water announced. In order to overcome the weaknesses identified by the Commission, Bulgaria’s authorities have already submitted to the National Assembly a draft on amendments to the Biodiversity Act. The process of issuing orders for protected areas continues, the Ministry of Environment and Water further notes.
