The good neighbor agreements with Bulgaria and Greece are integral part of the negotiating framework for the Republic of North Macedonia and Albania, Bulgaria’s MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk said in an interview for BNR. Ilhan Kyuchyuk who is the European Parliament’s Standing Rapporteur on North Macedonia commented that unlike many other previous elections in North Macedonia, this time the Bulgaria topic is not the most important topic in the current domestic political discourse. The main question in the election campaign in North Macedonia is whether this country goes back 3 years, or its future is connected with the European Union. If Skopje continues on its path to EU membership, this country will have to maintain good neighbor relations, MEP Kyuchyuk commented further.
