Summer restarted in Chepelare

Summer season is kick starting in the resort town of Chepelare in the Rhodopes to the roar of motorcycles. On Saturday the first of its kind bike show, featuring the legendary motorcycles Harley Davidson, is to take place in Chepelare.

In the morning there will be a street motorcycle parade with a police car escort, after which the bikers will come together in the town square where there will be a concert by the children from the support and personal development centre – Chepelare, the municipality says. The bike show proper kicks off after midday, when visitors will be able to look over the legendary machines, take their picture with them, and have fun with competitions in different categories – most handsome motorbike, loudest engine, most beautiful female biker etc. The initiative is called “Summer 2020 – restart in the mountain. Health, sports, emotions” and aims to showcase Chepelare as a summer destination.
