Kulata-Promachonas border crossing is functioning at full capacity. For the time being Bulgarian citizens are required to have a QR code from a submitted declaration. Bulgarians are tested randomly only if they have been in high-risk countries. There are three medical teams performing tests at Promachonas. Crossing into Greece takes no more than 30 minutes, even though there is a line of cars.
